About Us

ARISTA is the National Honors Society Chapter at Bronx High School of Science. This website is intended to be easily navigated and make all upcoming deadlines and events clear for members and visitors alike.

Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the greatest honors that can be bestowed upon a student. In order to remain in ARISTA, members are required to meet rigorous academic and service requirements. Each member must possess exceptional levels of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character in order to meet this goal.

After you submit an application, you will receive notification regarding its acceptance within a short period of time. Only after you have submitted your signed ARISTA contract (available under "Resources"), will your guidance counselor receive an official notification of your membership.
If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail the ARISTA adviser, Mr. DeSilva,  or any one of the ARISTA officers. Please find our contact information under "Contact Us."
